“Memento Mori” is Latin for “Remember you will die” A reminder of our own mortality.

An hourglass with a storm, moon and skull inside to symbolize the stormy turmoil we often face throughout life. The moon represents a period of calmness and the skull is the death we all eventually face. If the hourglass is tipped however one would think the whole process would start all over again. Is life infinite? Perhaps only death holds the secret to that.

A hand pulled 5 color screenprint made using a reduction printing technique utilizing screen filler and drawing fluid. Printed with acrylic ink on bristol paper.

Paper size is 11”x14” and the image size is approximately 8”x10”. Printed in a very limited edition of 4 prints.
